Extralight Putty
Lightweight polyester putty applied by spatula.
Used in the composite sector as modeling indicator for the filling of the model and in bodywork for finishing pieces. Being characterized by soft spreadability and excellent sandability without drying out the sandpaper, it is also appreciated for the finishing of bonded joints, the repairing of scratches and small cracks. It has shrinkage, it leaves no surface holes. Its perfect adhesion to any laminate is combined with low shrinkage and excellent sanding properties.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Apply on well cleaned sanded surfaces; make sure the substrate is free of dust, fibers, dirt and surface condensation. On the sheets, eliminate any residual oxide; degrease with antisilicone thinner. Carefully mix the putty with 1,0 – 3,0% of hardener in paste (benzoyl peroxide), bearing in mind that the quantity of required hardener, depends on the temperature of use and the processing times required. The recommended temperature range of use is between 12 and 30°C.
t must be applied manually with a spatula in one or more layers until the required thickness is reached. Generally recommended dry sanding cycle, grits: P80-P120-P220. In its original packaging, the product can be used for 12 months if stored indoor away from direct sunlight, at temperatures not exceeding 20°C.
