Polyester Putty Grey

Finishing putty based on polyester resins for general use.
Used in the composite sector for the assembling of plug frame and base, the positioning of bulkheads, the gluing of inserts and the finishing of bonded joints.
Formulated to guarantee high spreadability, excellent leveling and deaeration for a complete absence of porosity, good adhesion to the support and long storage resistance.

Recommended: polyester and vinylester fiberglass laminates; Raw degreased and sanded metal sheet.
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Apply on well cleaned sanded surfaces; make sure the substrate is free of dust, fibers, dirt and surface condensation. On the sheets, eliminate any residual oxide; degrease with antisilicone thinner. Carefully mix the putty with 1,0 – 3,0% of hardener in paste (benzoyl peroxide), bearing in mind that the quantity of required hardener, depends on the temperature of use and the processing times required. The recommended temperature range of use is between 12 and 30°C. It must be applied manually with a spatula in one or more layers until the required thickness is reached. Generally recommended dry sanding cycle, grits: P80-P120-P220. In its original packaging, the product can be used for 12 months if stored indoor away from direct sunlight, at temperatures not exceeding 20°C.
