The complete range of tooling pastes and specific putties of the Composite Slem line is used for the realization of plugs and direct moulds. The use of tooling pastes allows our customers to meet the needs of each construction project, plug or direct mould. The current range of tooling pastes is based on vinylester resins, polyester resins, polyester with low styrene content and polyester without styrene in order to be able to satisfy every technical and application need.
PROCESSING STEPS
Plug
Assembling of the plug base and frame. Foam support lamination. Knife shaping of the plug. Tooling paste extrusion and milling. Spray finishing of the plug surface.
Mould-lamination
Application of tooling gelcoat. Skincoat lamination. Layering plan lamination. Filling of the strips. Small angles and chines smoothing. Bonding of PVC, PU, balsa cores.
Lamination-assembling
Skincoat lamination. Positioning of bulkheads, smoothing the angles. Gluing of inserts. Bonding of floors and cielings. Bonding of the manufactured elements.
Fitting-out
Bonding of inner liners. Positioning of furnishings. Positioning of electric and plumbing systems.
Body-finishing
Levelling of laminated parts. Levelling of the surfaces and sides. Finishing of bonded joints. Repairing of scratches and small cracks. Polishing of gelcoated surfaces.
