Assembling Putty

Polyester putty with glass microfibres for high mechanical resistance filling and smoothing, even of high thickness.
Formulated with high thixotropy and easy spreadability, it is used for the repair, filling and grouting of damaged surfaces, for the assembly of semi-finished and fibreglass products and for the assembling of plug frame and base.
SUPPORTS
Recommended: polyester and vinylester fiberglass laminates.
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Apply on well cleaned sanded surfaces; make sure the substrate is free of dust, fibers, dirt and surface condensation. On the sheets, eliminate any residual oxide; degrease with antisilicone thinner. Carefully mix the putty with 1,0 – 3,0% of hardener in paste (benzoyl peroxide), bearing in mind that the quantity of required hardener, depends on the temperature of use and the processing times required. The recommended temperature range of use is between 12 and 30°C. It must be applied manually with a spatula in one or more layers until the required thickness is reached. Generally recommended dry sanding cycle, grits: P80-P120-P220. In its original packaging, the product can be used for 12 months if stored indoor away from direct sunlight, at temperatures not exceeding 20°C.

Vinylester bonding paste for lamination

Vinylester bonding paste reinforced with glass microfibers, characterized by remarkable thermal and mechanical properties other than excellent adhesion and flexibility. Specifically formulated to assemble and repair fiberglass laminates, during the lamination phases for filling strips and joints thanks to its excellent adhesion to the substrate and its high mechanical and anti-osmosis properties. Contains viracolor.
SUPPORTS
Recommended: Fiberglass polyester and vinylester laminates.
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Apply on well cleaned sanded surfaces; make sure that the substrate is free of dust, fibers, dirt and surface condensation. Carefully mix the vinylester bonding paste with 1,0 – 2,0% of liquid hardener (methylethyl ketone peroxide), bearing in mind that the amount required depends on the temperature of use and the processing times required. The recommended temperature range of use is between 12 and 30°C. It must be applied manually with a spatula. For quantities over 5 kg mixing with a stirrer is recommended; for 200 l drums the use of a pressing plate extruder-mixer guarantees the best mixing efficiency.
